Frequently asked questions:

Below are my answers to some commonly asked questions regarding hiring me as your DJ for your event. So, if you can not find what you are looking for here, then please, reach out to me via email, chat button, or phone. Lastly, the chat button I mentioned earlier is actually located on every single page of this site.
Does the DJ have a written contract? Answer: No. Not at this exact time. If you need to create a contract with me then we can do that too before we start.  • Will the DJ work with the event organizer’s playlist as well as the do-not play list? • Does the DJ have the equipment to mix songs so there is no break between them? • Will the music continue while the DJ takes a break? • Will the DJ announce toasts, first dance, cake cutting and other special moments? • Will the DJ give examples of the above things when he or she meets the event organizer? • Has the DJ worked at the event site before? • Does the DJ’s equipment include sound system, wireless mic and speakers? • What will the DJ do if nobody is dancing? • What will the DJ wear? • Does the DJ have a video of his or her work at another wedding?
Starting out as a dj was fun. Looking back, I recall many exciting moments performing as a dj.

When I purchased this item from Guitar Center, I nearly fainted because of the price tag. $700 for the item. However much the price, I am thankful I made the purchase.
I am a Las Vegas based DJ. My career began in college where I took interest in other experienced DJs' spinning on the UNLV campus. Since then, I've been dedicated to playing a good set for people.

First, it is not easy being a DJ. The hard part is finding gigs and practicing with intention and purpose.

Lately, my sound cloud is growing at a fair rate. As a matter of fact, I check my soundcloud every six months or so to make sure songs are being playing correctly. Again, this website is proving to be useful. Together with, my other website www.modernboardroomsupplies.com I have the unique opportunity to market myself to multiple audiences.

Being a DJ is not easy. The hard part is getting out there and taking charge of your life. I've been a DJ for a few years now, and I love it. For me, getting out there is the hardest part. Typically, I spend most of my days thinking of ways I can make my life better. So, being a DJ is good for me because I get to meet new people and have fun listening to music. More importantly, I try not to make the idea of being a DJ all about the money either you know?

Becoming a DJ Where to Start

I first thought about coming to a DJ event at my local college. No, I was not the one being the DJ; however, I was the one being exposed to a whole new world. Now, it all started when I met a real DJ at UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas). Looking forward, I am focusing on staying booked as a DJ.

Where to Begin as a DJ

I think it all starts in the mind. You can use your mind to achieve great things when you focus. My parents take me on travel adventures which open me up to new ideas and opportunities because the "open road" provides relief from everyday stress. Nobody can stay in the office 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

How to Be a DJ with a Laptop

The important item to remember is traveling as a DJ has its ups and down. I prefer to have multiple streams of income to support my lifestyle because I am never guaranteed anything from my investments. Having a career as a DJ is the best feeling in the world because it allows me to give others the gift of music. I see my music as an energetic and friendly atmosphere where everyone is free; there is no hate! Traveling as a DJ requires large amounts of discipline to carry on forward through the pains and struggles life brings to all of us.

What is My Motivation for Job Change?

The more I think about the right decision the less time I have to make a decision which can bring me into a new opportunity. So, I do a lot of thinking and planning on paper to get my thoughts going in the right direction. In the same way, being patient and having the courage to take charge of my life's purpose means more to me than spending countless hours in one location. For the most part, I spend my days moving around from one place to the next because I enjoy seeing and having new experiences; more than staring at one wall for too long of a period of time.  Meaning, I have to blah, so thinking gives me the advantage of strategically planning my days for the ultimate productivity. I got into being a DJ somewhere around 20, 21, 22, or 23 years old. Granted, I have been producing music for a very long time -since I was 15 (The year 2005). I think my brother talked me into it. We thought it would be fun to have people dancing to our tunes. The thing was that I produced a lot more music than I was necessarily DJing for people. I think around my last year of college is when I took DJing seriously. While still having fun with it, DJing became something of thrill-seeking event for me. Performing on stage in front of people gave me the rush I was looking for. Click here to view my music on iTunes music store
